Introducing beautifully-carved, white-porcelain coasters designed by OJI Masanori. The coasters are beautiful yet very functional as their design prevents the coasters to stick to the glasses in the presence of moisture. The drops of water that run down to the coaster slide into the carved patterns, creating a space that allows the coaster not to stick to the glasses. They can also be used as small plates for spices or to put jewelry or small accessories.
The rusty brown color on the rim of the coasters, called "fuchi-sabi", lends an accent to the porcelain ware.
