Hello to my dear customers and friends

It’s hard to fathom that three months have gone by and we all find ourselves halfway through 2020 wondering what just happened. I merrily headed to NY in January and February buying goodies for the stores, and took the calculated risk of traveling to Paris in March for more buying. Little did I know then that the world as we knew it was about to change. With the shelter in place order that was mandated mid March, I had to temporarily close the stores. And the shock of that, after being a business open to the public seven days a week, for the last 18 years was pretty intense. But through all of this, I’ve been able to count on my dedicated and compassionate team who have shared my dream to keep offering some light to our customers through all of this. Without my wonderful team, DIANI would not be here and I am eternally grateful and inspired by them. And during this time, you, our loyal and caring customers have been creatively shopping with us online, through “try on” boxes, local deliveries and curbside pick ups. The excitement we feel when you reach out to connect with us is very special and keeps us all going. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me, DIANI and my team. It means a great deal. And my husband, Jeffrey has been my rock through all of this. He has worked long hours every single day handling everything from finances, store maintenance, furniture building, local deliveries and pick ups, endless amounts of lunch pick ups for me, hugs, a shoulder to cry on, a middle-of-the-night-panic-easer, a constant cheerleader and DIANI ambassador. I’m not sure how I got to be this lucky to have him by my side, but I know that I will never take it for granted or forget this period of time specifically. We’ve all been tumbled through a washing machine and I feel that together we are finding our feet again. I love you all and am so grateful to be on this journey with you and to have the opportunity to keep doing what I love. Retail is in my bones and I love the community we have built together over the last 18 years. And on that note, we are very excited to be back open! We’ve been playing it very safe and still plan to let this evolve organically but for now..
