The base fabric is called "khadi" - the yarns are hand-spun and the fabric is then hand loomed. this technique creates a durable, absorbent, soft fabric with a linen-like texture. it is also hand block printed in small batches by a family of 4th generation printers in bagru, india. drips and print imperfections show the handmade quality and are part of the beauty.
