The April Edit With Caroline

Happy Easter, friends! Truth be told, it’s almost my favorite holiday because I can find Cadbury’s Mini Eggs EVERYWHERE! Those of you who know me, know I’m a chocoholic and I really let my willpower guard down over the Easter holiday. So, as I was thinking of my April Edit, a vitality go-to list came to mind since I’ll be trying to right some wrongs for the rest of the month. And, with Mother’s Day around the corner (May 8th), I’ve stocked the stores with everything you need to make her feel special, from silky robes and body oils to diamond necklaces and chic candles. And with all these festivities, we could use a little tabletop makeover, so I’ve curated my favorites for hosting gatherings too…

Celebrate all the mamas in your life by gifting them something they will love and cherish. Instead of fresh flowers, opt for this beautiful DIANI Sage Bundle, it’s filled with a variety of dried flowers and grasses that will last forever, and you can separate the sage wand to burn around the home. The Pirro Candle is one of our newest and it’s already a favorite. Made by hand in New York using organic soy wax, the sculptural shape and textural surface makes this candle a work of art, and a wonderful gift too.

Lightweight and as soft as silk, this Bamboo Robe is perfect for throwing on after a bath or shower or just to lounge in around the house or pool. And to complete her spa experience, gift a bottle of this luxurious Body Oil from Susanne Kaufmann. Made from nourishing oils and herbs to keep skin feeling silky soft and smelling heavenly too.

Every mama deserves a little sparkle, and these new Superstar Sneakers from Golden Goose are on everyone's wishlist. With a mix of glitter and camo, this standout sneaker packs a style punch. For more subtle shine, gift her this beautiful diamond and gold heart necklace from Adina Reyter.

A lust-worthy tote to complete her spring wardrobe, the Leon L Handbag features the designer’s signature style in a seasonal raffia. I personally love the size and versatility – it can be worn over the shoulder or hand-held, making it perfect for mums on the go.

Bring joy to her home with this beautiful Anfora Vase, hand built out of stoneware with grog from Spain and brushed with experimental glazes for a truly unique work of art. It makes a lovely centerpiece on its own or filled with foliage. Or give her the gift of relaxation with the cozy wool Zeit Throw. Crafted on a traditional wooden loom in Barcelona, this blanket is a keepsake she will bundle up with for years to come.

Whether you’re setting the table for Mother’s Day, wedding festivities or a baby shower, we have everything you need to make your tabletop feel fresh for spring. This Balloon Vase is one of my favorite vessels for displaying fresh flowers. I also like adding my custom designed DIANI Sage Bundle to each place setting – the color is perfect for spring and the dried foliage lasts forever.

Whether you’re dining inside or out, you can elevate any table setting with a simple tablecloth, like this linen one from Cultiver. It’s made from pure pre-washed linen woven from European flax and is the perfect blend of casual and elegant. When choosing servingware, I reach for neutral tones with rich texture.I love the Lace Piatra Dinner Plate for it’s handmade design and organic shape, layered on top of these pretty Pasta Bowls. As for glassware, a mix of shape and design adds interest to the table, like this Crystal Soda Glass and this Etched Wine Glass.

For each place setting, add a little color with my custom designed Organic Natural Dye Cotton Napkins. The yellow paisley design is block printed by hand in India and the perfect pop of color for a spring table. For a natural accent, I love the texture of these Cane Napkin Rings.

To keep my body and mind feeling strong and energized (and to balance out all those Cadbury's Eggs), I turn to movement, a few favorite supplements and a good book to shift my perspective and remind me what's important. A chic activewear set is a must to keep me motivated and feeling my best, like the tie-dye printed Celeste Top and Paloma Legging, paired with the New Balance 57/40 Sneaker.

To support my mental, emotional and physical health, I take a scoopful of the Yin Power from Sun Potion and mix it into my morning smoothie. It contains a blend of organic, wild-harvested herbs that support immunity, energy, and overall hormonal balance, to help harmonize the body’s entire system. I also love adding a scoop of the Green Adaptogen for an extra boost of immunity and energy support.

And when life gets busy and chaotic, SuperYou from Moon Juice helps to manage everyday stress. The blend of four potent adaptogenic herbs work together to regulate cortisol levels, reducing the effects of stress on the mind and body. And for a protein boost with beauty benefits, Blue Beauty is a new protein powder with added adaptogens to improve energy and manage stress at the same time. It mixes well with yogurt, coffee, pancakes and baked goods (and smoothies).

After a tough workout or to simply destress from the day, the Fortifying Magnesium Soak is my go-to. A blend of French green clay, papaya enzymes and CBD, this bath soak enhances relaxation, eases sore muscles and promotes restful sleep. And The New Rules Of Aging Well has changed how I view aging and is a great guide for tools to boost energy and wellbeing through all stages of life.

Wishing you and your family a very Happy Easter and Passover. A here's hoping that even with the busyness of the holiday, you find time to take care of yourself and enjoy the connection of loved ones around you.

Sending lots of love,
