Our Favorite DIANI Living Bedrooms

It’s no secret that here at DIANI Living we love a well-styled bedroom (have you seen our in-store bed?) A true sanctuary and place of rest, renewal and relaxation, the bedroom is one of the best rooms in the house. To honor this sacred space it should include all of your favorite things, from pillows and sheets to throws and creature comforts – like books, photographs, candles and personal treasures.

Over the years we’ve outfitted some swoon-worthy bedrooms with our favorite DIANI Living accent pieces, from custom designed pillows to vintage wooden benches. It’s hard to pick favorites, but here they are… a round up of our favorite DIANI Living bedrooms.

Last year we collaborated with Genevieve Badone Assili of La Mamma Creative to help put the finishing touches on the newly renovated home of Santa Barbara-based blogger Samantha Wennerstrom of Could I Have That. Staying true to her aesthetic, she wanted her new bedroom to feel light, airy and incredibly serene. Starting with a neutral base, Genevieve used her styling chops to add a bit of color using our custom designed DIANI Living pillows in a relaxing blue print. She also sourced our blue batik fabric to create the upholstered headboard, helping to really tie the room’s color story together.

Last year I launched our Pillow Talk series as a way to celebrate inspiring entrepreneurs. I kicked it off with interior designer and blogger Caitlin Flemming and gave her San Francisco apartment a little DIANI Living refresh. We started with the living room, then headed to her bedroom. Since Caitlin already has such a great design eye, it was easy to add in a few little touches to complete her vision. One of my large custom designed accent pillows made her bed come to life and we added the Nash Throw Blanket for those cool Bay Area evenings.

I know I’m a little biased here, but I have a special place in my heart for the master bedroom in our Hudson Valley Farm House in upstate New York. Maybe it’s the light that streams through the old farm house windows or the peace and quiet only achieved by living on acres of farm land. I also think it has something to do with the amazingly soft Linen Sheet Set on the bed. The light pink hue creates the most soothing vibes. I also love the Vintage Wooden Bench at the foot of the bed, it’s perfect for putting on/taking off shoes.

A few years ago I did my first staging project for a newly remodeled 1929 residence in the heart of Santa Barbara. I had a blast styling each room with some of my favorite DIANI Living products. This bedroom was one of my favorites to create. As we’ve seen with the three bedrooms above, neutrals are key to creating a calm, relaxing space. I used my custom designed pillows as accent pieces on the bed. I also layered the Kesh Bed Cover with Large Pompoms for a little texture. The Vintage Wooden Bench was the perfect grounding piece on top of that gorgeous rug.
