It Takes A Village
Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” This sentiment rings loudly when it comes to running a business. I launched DIANI on my own a little over 20 years ago and, like any business, over the years it has ebbed and flowed much like the tides. But one thing that I have learned is that to pull it all off, it takes a team. And when chosen wisely, that team becomes family and together can do anything. I’m so grateful for my dedicated, hardworking crew for all that they do at DIANI – from the expertise and experience in the stores, to the curation and merchandising, to the social media engagement, online shopping experience and weekly blog posts. This week’s post is dedicated to every single person who contributes to this magical place…
There are so many who work tirelessly to bring their very best to DIANI and a lot of you have met at least some of our team. When I say it takes a village, our village is 20 incredible people - Leanna, Christine, Cynthia, Ari, Jennifer, Grace, Caro, Zach, Dominique, Shaina, Hannah, Helen, Sara, Carolina, Sarah, Julie, Julia, Elle, Jeffrey and myself. What everyone brings to the team is special and unique to their backgrounds and experiences. And, together we have been able to support each other through our common goals, build meaningful relationships within our community, learn how to meet challenges, overcome them, and grow new skill sets, all whilst having fun doing it. I'm very proud of our team for embodying kindness, grace and humor and for always seeking to give the best of themselves to you, our wonderful customers.
Whether you shop with us in store or online, you’re helped by one or several of us. So if you’re new to DIANI, we’d all love to introduce ourselves and get to know you. And if you don’t already, follow along on our instagram @dianiboutique where we post pretty things daily.
With lots of gratitude and admiration to my team, some of whom are in the photo above, and to you, our customers who support us all. And if there is anything we can be doing better, I'd love to hear! Feel free to email me caroline@dianiliving.com.
