Deck The Halls With Caroline

A big part of holiday season is bringing out the decorations to fill a tree, and adding new ones to the mix. I’ve stocked up on some beautiful new and classic ornaments in glass, handmade ceramic, and wood. When it comes to fresh winter greenery, I subscribe to a “more is more” aesthetic, and the smell alone can bring on that holiday cheer. So to help you deck the halls, our in-house botany bar has crafted limited edition DIANI holiday wreaths for local pick up or custom order. Read on to see more of what we’re offering for holiday decor this season…

Trimming a tree is a classic holiday tradition, and one of my favorite ways to celebrate the start of the season. When decorating, I like to include a mix of new and old ornaments, and this year I’m particularly drawn to festive vintage-inspired pieces. The Deer Ornament with its snowy coat and glitter detailing adds a touch of whimsy to the tree, whilst the Glass Elf Ornament brings a hint of old world nostalgia. 

For the vehicle enthusiast, this classic red Truck and the Car Glass Ornament with snowy tree detailing will add a color pop, and the Grey Whale is perfect for a beach house or sea creature-loving friend. I’m also mixing in a few simple ceramic ornaments, like the handmade Lace Textured Dove Ornament - a symbol of hope and imprinted by hand with lace, and the Gold Dipped Moon glazed in glossy white with hand painted gold tips. To add in some natural texture, this Wooden Sphere Strand is beautiful as a garland strung throughout the tree.

Whilst wreaths are typically placed outdoors, I hung one of our handmade organic grapevine evergreen and leucadendron designs above my mantel, and not only does it look festive, but it smells heavenly too with the combination of evergreens, pinecones, dried seed pods, and leucadendron. 

Kick off the holiday season with this beautiful Advent Candle. Printed with numbers representing the days of December, this candle provides the perfect visual method of counting down to Christmas and was a highlight of the season growing up in England. And back by popular demand, the vintage Frazada Christmas Stocking brings instant holiday cheer. Now all you have to do is add in a roaring fire for cozy evenings at home.

A few other holiday decorations that I've added this year are the handcrafted Holy Night Nativity - a holiday heirloom that points back to the wonder of the Christmas story, and this Christmas Robin Pot, a sweet candle inspired by nature and filled with an uplifting aromatic blend of nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. And, for family and friends near and far, wish them happy holidays with The Stone Jug Greeting Cards (comes as a box of six cards and envelopes). The card captures our upstate New York home in the snow.

For this year's wreath to greet guests at the door, I've chosen the Small Leucadendron Wreath. Made from organic grapevines and leucadendron pods, which have bright red blooms from an evergreen shrub. This limited edition DIANI holiday wreath is handcrafted by our in-house botanist using natural, foraged botanicals. It's one of four different designs to accommodate a variety of outdoor spaces and styles, and this one works perfectly with the one I've hung indoors (pictured above).

Bountiful and filled with seasonal greens, the Grapevine Evergreen Botanical Wreath is a real showstopper. It's handcrafted using evergreens, dried white starflowers, ivy, jasmine vine, silver bell eucalyptus pods, dried plumosa, and other botanicals.  

Another in the collection, the Organic Grapevine Evergreen & Leucadendron Wreath brings beautiful simplicity to this doorway. The festive shades of green, red and brown come from the evergreens, pinecones, dried seed pods and leucadendron.

For a classic holiday wreath that looks lovely in almost any space, the Grapevine Evergreen Pinecone Wreath is sure to make a good impression. Crafted from fresh evergreens and pinecones, it doesn't get much more seasonal than this.
