Caroline's Last Minute Holiday Gift Ideas
When it comes to holiday shopping, I'll be the first to admit that I tend to either wait till the last minute or struggle to find just the right gift. To help ease your mind (and mine), I've scoured all three of my stores for some perfect last minute gift ideas that will check all the boxes on your list. From cozy scarfs and statement sneakers to self care essentials and kitchen treats – all wrapped up in our new signature floral print paper designed by my talented friend, Gail Bryson. These presents are sure to bring cheer just in the St. Nick of time.

When you're not quite sure what to gift, calling in the classics is always a good idea. You can't go wrong with this Isabel Marant Étoile palana scarf. The sweater-inspired style features a tapered rectangular shape that can be worn with just about anything – from dresses to denim and a tee. The rodeo bag from Golden Goose is the perfect everyday size with a crossbody styling option. With a touch of western charm, this natural leather bag will only get better with age. Complete her head-to-toe accessorizing with a contemporary take on the classic cowboy boot. These Golden Goose ankle boots will quickly become her everyday staple.

Sometimes the people we know best can be the hardest to shop for. In this case my rule of thumb is, if I'm into it, there's a chance she'll be into it too. When I first discovered Soko jewelry years ago, I fell in love with their mission and aesthetic. This women-led ethical jewelry brand connects artisans in Kenya to the global market to help reduce inequality and create high quality jobs. With Kenyan roots of my own, I felt a deep tie to their business practice. Many of their beautiful handcrafted pieces are made from sustainable material too, like recycled brass and reclaimed horn and bone. Shop the entire collection here.

If they order dessert first, they'll love receiving these sweet treats. Fill our signature DIANI cookie box with their favorite homemade cookies (or snag some from your local bakery). And you can’t go wrong with The Cookie Book by Displaced Housewife founder, Rebecca Firth. It features delicious recipes for cookies, truffles and decadent bites. Pair with this handcrafted gold brushed cookie plate for the perfect gift bundle.

While it might seem impossible to shop for the person who has everything, I have a few ideas that are sure to hit a home run. Classic vintage winter sweater meets lux with this new Madeleine Thompson cashmere cardigan. Knitted with dainty polka-dots and hearts, it has just the right amount of sweetness to become a favorite in her wardrobe. Complete the look and keep her sneaker game strong by gifting her the animal print pair from Golden Goose. Handcrafted in Italy and always favorites with our customers, these sneakers can be worn with everything, from dresses to jeans and for years to come.

With the year we've had, everyone could use a little self care. So pamper her from head to toe with these essentials. Take her bath time routine to the next level with this herbal-infused magnesium soak. Formulated with French clay and CBD, I use this soak at least once a week to ease soreness, enhance relaxation and promote restful sleep – it's simply the best. Bundle it with this soothing body balm, which penetrates deep into the skin to ease tension and soreness. One of my newest skincare obsessions is this organic anti-aging sheet mask. I like to apply it in the evening to replenish my skin after a long day in the elements.

She sources local ingredients and seeks out the nearest farmers market – your natural foodie friend will love these chef-inspired gifts. Keep her spill-free and organized with our signature DIANI apron. In collaboration with Citizens of Humanity, this denim apron is one of our best sellers for its functionality, durability and flattering style. Pair it with one of our newest seasonally-driven cookbooks, like Sunday Suppers, Whole Food Cooking Everyday or The Nimble Cook.

It's no secret that I love unique, handmade pottery (check out my latest blog post here...), so when the holidays roll around I love to gift special pieces to friends and family. I recently partnered with one of my favorite ceramists, Julie Spako of Spako Clay to create a DIANI exclusive collection, featuring a dandelion design that pays homage to our bestselling dandelion paperweights. As a child I have fond memories of blowing on a dandelion and making a wish, and that feeling of hope is what I was looking to recreate in this collection. With the world that we live in currently, this felt more timely than ever. Give the gift of hope and beauty with a piece from this heartfelt collection.

Whether she's a novice or a seasoned gardener, we have a variety of gifts for the green thumb. Help keep her projects in check with this all purpose jute twine ball. Biodegradable and made from natural plant fibers, it can be left outside and added to the compost. Come spring, she'll love the wooden seed labels to keep her organized and these gloves are a must to keep bugs and scratches away. Featuring dried wild flowers and grasses, this beautiful custom designed sage bundle was a recent collaboration with Hudson Valley's, The Quiet Botanist. It's beautiful as a place setting or as a gift for the nature lover and wellness minded.
I hope these gift ideas help check a few things off your list. And as always, we're here to help you find what you need, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me at caroline@dianiboutique.com.
Sending love and holiday cheer,
