Raquel Allegra

Born in Berkeley, CA to artisan parents, Raquel Allegra's childhood encouraged a personal creative process of instinct, experiment and play. Her line has introduced elegance to the once, basic tee. Full length webbed cocoon shapes evolved out of laborious experiments with oversized vintage shirts recycled from the Los Angeles County Prison System. The line has since expanded to include richly textured pieces in deerskin, linen, cashmere, and French lace. The ethereal and informal beauty of the pieces has garnered admiration from celebrities, editors, stylists and savvy consumers from Los Angeles to Beirut.
